PLEASE NOTE:    All Diploma Dogs questions have been verified using reliable educational resources, but still, some may have changed over time or may be ambiguous.  Thank you to those who have called or emailed us with inquiries.  Our intent is to ensure the information is correct.  Here are a few examples:

  • One "Geography Dog" emailed to advise us that the Missouri River is actually the longest river in the United States, rather than the Mississippi River, so we checked it.  According to several sources, including the Almanac the Mississippi River is longer (2,348 miles) than the Missouri River (2,314 miles) when measuring from as far as its name goes.

  • Another call to us regarding the Science question: "______ measures humidity."  The answer is "barometer" however another possibility is "hygrometer".  Technically a barometer measures air pressure, not humidity, therefore our answer is incorrect.  A barometer measures air pressure, which indicates humidity.  We'll make this correction for the game coming out in the fall of 2007.

  • Another call to us regarding a Health question reported that "bacteria" is not a tiny living plant.  We are currently researching this for accuracy.

If you have a question regarding our information, please let us know.  Thank you for your help.
